The ATU is pushing the U.S. Congress to pass the Coronavirus Economic Relief for Transportation Services (CERTS) Act to provide the highest level possible of direct emergency funding to school bus companies that have been devastated by COVID-19. More than 10,000 ATU school bus workers have been laid off or furloughed since school shutdown. Unlike city transit agencies, the school bus industry was not included in the U.S. CARES Act that provided $25 billion in emergency funding for transit systems. To send a letter to your Members of Congress to support our sisters and brothers in the school bus industry, please visit here: https://actionnetwork.org/letters/help-save-the-school-bus-industry?source=direct_link&
